Annalie Riches is co-founder of Mikhail Riches, a Stirling-Prize winning architecture practice behind Goldsmiths Street, the Passivhaus social housing scheme. The practice has a growing reputation for large-scale housing projects and masterplanning. Mikhail Riches has won five RIBA Awards and five Housing Design Awards. They were named BD Housing Architect of the Year 2009. Their Church Walk project in Stoke Newington won London Building of the Year 2013. Annalie graduated from Sheffield University and North London University, and was selected for the RIBA Silver Medal. She has worked for RFR Peter Rice in Paris and Edward Cullinan Architects. She spent a year building her own house at Whatcott’s Yard, which won an RIBA award and AJ First Building Award. Annalie is External Examiner at Westminster University and Visiting Professor at Sheffield University.
